The discovery of the 2,200-year-old Terracotta Warriors in 1974 once shocked the
world. Inside the museum, three exhibition halls house the continuing excavation of
an army of 7,000 terracotta soldiers and horses that guard the tomb of China's first
emperor, Qin Shihuang. It is a stunning exhibit of ancient artifacts that is well
laid-out and easy to view.

city, tour the Big Goose Pagoda and a market street in the
city's southern district.
After a delicious Local

Museum, a leading attraction in the city since it opened in 1994. Designed

contain world-class collections of ancient arts and artifacts. The Bronze Gallery is
probably the best of its kind in the world.

Concession, represented by the leafy Fuxing Park, for a walking tour
